Accessing your client's SmartOffice™ portal

To view your client's cameras, watch playback video, or export and download video, you can access your client's SmartOffice™ portal through your own portal.

What you should know

If is displayed next to a client account or a client's camera, you cannot access this client's SmartOffice™ portal because the client has enabled the privacy setting and has restricted access to you and Comcast personnel. After access is re-established, is displayed. If you are using the SmartOffice™ mobile apps, you must refresh the client page of your app to see changes to the privacy setting.
Note: Only client administrators can enable and disable privacy. If you require immediate access to your client's portal, contact the administrator of the client account.

Procedure

  1. Click Clients.
  2. In the Client accounts page, click for the client account whose SmartOffice™ web portal you want to access.
    Note: If your username is registered to the client account you want to access, you can also access the account by clicking your name at the top of the page, and then clicking Switch accounts from the drop-down menu. Being a client-level user of the account bypasses the privacy setting for that particular user.
The home page of your client's SmartOffice™ portal opens in your web browser.
